David B. Griffin, an 11-year veteran of Metro Appraisals, has been named company president. Griffin, 33, previously served as chief operating officer. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia, an MAI designated member of the Appraisal Institute, and a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina and South Carolina.
Throughout his appraisal career, Griffin has appraised a wide variety of property types and has testified as an expert witness throughout Georgia for numerous court proceedings, the company said. Founded in 1988, Gainesville, Ga.-based Metro Appraisals is a commercial and residential real estate appraisal firm, focusing on high-quality valuation services, excellent customer service, and dependable expertise.
