CU Appraisal Services added two new members to its growing leadership team in Partner Relationship Manager Dawn Stankovic and Quality Control Manger Jennifer Richardson.
Ohio-based CU Appraisal Services, the only AMC in the country to be partially owned by credit unions, also is dedicated to strengthening the appraisal industry by supporting the competency of the appraisal profession, paying fair fees, and actively developing strategies to address the decline in appraisers nationwide, the company said in a news release.
Stankovic will oversee relationships with CU Appraisal Services’ credit union and appraiser partners in the southeast. She began her career in credit unions, where she has held multiple management positions over the past 30 years.
“My experience as a customer cemented my decision to join CU Appraisal Services,” Stankovic said in the release. “There were other appraisal management companies did not deliver the same quality reporting, communication, and responsiveness that they did. I have also been impressed with the quality of their relationships with their appraisers. I am sold on their vision of a new type of appraisal management company, and am excited to help extend that vision to other credit unions.”
Richardson joins CU Appraisal Services with more than seven years of experience in mortgage underwriting. Most recently, she served as a quality analyst for Fifth Third Bank. In this new position, she will focus on compliance and quality efforts for the company’s credit union partners — supervising a team of collateral review specialists; developing and implement quality control training programs; and maintaining an active role on continuous improvement teams to ensure quality and compliance.
“We are really happy to have Dawn (Stankovic) join our team. Her passion, expertise, and professionalism are invaluable,” CU Appraisal Services President John Theobald said. “Having a credit union professional of her level on staff helps us assure we are doing all we can to support credit unions.”
“Jennifer (Richardson) will be instrumental in strengthening our training processes and quality procedures into the future,” CU Appraisal Services Vice President of Operations Rob Richter said. “Our business has doubled, year upon year — and we are poised for exponential growth in 2016. As our business grows, it is important for us to stay abreast of compliance changes, ensure efficiency, and maintain the level of responsiveness and personal accountability that our credit union partners have come to expect.”
