Urban Lending Solutions Appraisals (ULSA), a nationwide provider of appraisal management company (AMC) services, announced July 22 that it has been named an approved AMC to Flagstar Bank. As an approved AMC, ULSA will provide appraisal services to both Flagstar’s retail and correspondent channels.
Michigan-based Flagstar Bank is a full-service bank with more than 100 branches in communities across the state. Flagstar is the largest banking company headquartered in Michigan, a top-tier mortgage originator in the country and one of the nation's largest savings banks.
“We are very excited to offer our high-quality appraisal services to Flagstar Bank and their customers,” said Scot Rose, president and chief valuation officer of ULSA. “As a fully integrated partner within Flagstar’s order management system, ULSA can now easily be selected for nationwide services, and their partners can experience working with a premier AMC.”
ULSA was launched in 2010 to provide organizational focus on valuation services due to the increased regulatory requirements in the industry. ULSA is a wholly owned subsidiary of Urban Lending Solutions (ULS), founded by Charles and Elisa Sanders in 2002. The duo quickly evolved ULS into one of the country’s premier providers of customized mortgage solutions serving several top lending institutions.
ULSA is headquartered in Pittsburgh with operational offices in Broomfield and Highlands Ranch, Colo.; Troy, Mich.; and Westlake Village, Calif. ULSA is appraiser-managed with an average of 25 years of industry experience.
