LRES, a national provider of residential and commercial valuations and asset management for the mortgage, banking, credit union and real estate industries, announced the hiring of Emeka Madu as the company’s new manager of compliance.
In this position, Madu will oversee LRES’ compliance department, ensuring the company remains up to date and compliant with all real estate appraisal, broker price opinion (BPO) and asset management industry rules, regulations and statutory requirements. Additionally, Madu will be tasked with reviewing, validating and processing all correspondence related to state taxes, business licenses, AMC regulatory licenses and insurance requirements for LRES.
Prior to joining LRES’ compliance department, Madu served as a legal consultant at a criminal defense law firm based in Beverly Hills, Calif. During that same time, he also held a position as a paralegal professor at Platt College. Prior to that, Madu held the position of legal compliance financial analyst at a strategy, risk management and regulatory compliance consulting firm focusing primarily on the financial services industry.

Madu earned a juris doctorate from Trinity Law School and a bachelor’s degree at California State University, Northridge.
