California-based LRES announces a new appointment for its appraisal management company, which focuses on property valuations, asset management and technology solutions for the mortgage industry. Damon Paxson has been named to the position of vice president of Homeowner Association (HOA) Services.
In his new role with the company, Paxson will be responsible for managing all LRES-HOA-related products and functions, which include HOA indentation, HOA monitoring, HOA estoppel services, HOA negotiation services, payment of arrears and monthly payment services. He also will lead the implementation of operational strategies, objectives, processes and efficiencies within the department.
“As LRES’ new vice president of HOA services, I am committed to propelling LRES’ HOA department forward by managing the process and meeting all deadlines associated with HOA-related properties,” Paxson told Valuation Review. “Because one out of every five properties is tied to a homeowners association (HOA), this is a huge market for LRES and one that I plan to focus our team’s efforts and resources into further centralizing the approach, accelerating the information retrieval process from HOA companies, and complying with state statutes when negotiating dues and fees.”
Prior to LRES, Paxson served as senior vice president of operations at Bank of America, where he supervised eight sites and 13 managers. He also served as senior vice president for a diversified mortgage services company, where he managed all operational staff used to support multiple client needs for outsourcing or staff augmentation.
LRES CEO Roger Beane shared his enthusiasm on the hiring of Paxson.
“Damon’s impressive background and past responsibilities further strengthen LRES’ HOA department as he monitors and manages the flow of HOAs and deadlines; ensures adherence to all specific state, local and county ordinance requirements; and mobilizes our HOA team to grow,” Beane said.
