Arrigoni was appointed as president and chief executive officer of U.S. Bank Home Mortgage in 1996 following the company’s merger with Investors Bank in 1995. As the head of the Home Mortgage division of U.S. Bank, Arrigoni oversaw a staff of 6,000 employees in 26 production offices, facilitating mortgage funding activity in all 50 states that exceeded $85 billion of retail and wholesale loans annually, with a total service level of more than $270 billion.
Arrigoni’s 34 years in the banking and mortgage industry also includes management positions with North American Mortgage (which he founded), Margaretten, United Mortgage, Northland Mortgage and TCF Bank.
“Our company is extremely fortunate to add someone with Dan’s depth and breadth of industry expertise and experience to our advisory board,” said John Forsythe, Forsythe Appraisals’ president and chief executive officer. “Everyone in the company is excited to have him in place as one of our directors and to take advantage of the wealth of knowledge he possesses.”
“The mortgage lending and property valuation industries are highly complex, ever-changing, and permanently intertwined,” said Jeff Turner, chairman of the Forsythe Appraisals’ board of directors and managing partner of Hillcrest Capital Partners, co-owners of Forsythe Appraisals. “Dan is a talented and proven business leader whose guidance and informed advice will be important in helping us successfully navigate those complexities and continue to grow and prosper. He has devoted his entire career to the betterment of the mortgage industry, and we feel privileged to now be able to tap into that reserve of experience to assist our company in reaching its goals in the years to come.”
Arrigoni presently sits on the board of directors of the National Mortgage Bankers Association and has previously held positions on the MBA’s Legislative Committee, Residential Board of Governors, Nominating Committee, Advisory Committee to the Board of Governors and Fannie Mae’s Regional Advisory Board. He is also currently on Freddie Mac’s CEO Roundtable.
