Realcomp II Ltd., Michigan's largest multiple listing service serving more than 13,500 valued broker, agent, and appraiser customers in more than 2,200 offices statewide, announced an exclusive relationship in Michigan with Remine, a big data company that delivers predictive analytics and big data visualizations to real estate professionals exclusively through their MLS.
As a result, all 13,500 Realcomp REALTORS and MLS subscribers will have access to the Remine data product, which brings intelligent data to the real estate industry. The Remine architects have aggregated more than 2 billion data points to provide real estate professionals with the next evolution in property information—a tool for generating leads by predicting the propensity of a consumer to buy or sell a home, according to the company’s release.
“We continue to identify and address the pain points of our REALTOR customers by delivering cutting-edge tech solutions that position them to excel in the marketplace,” Realcomp CEO Karen Kage said in the release. “Remine technology will give Michigan REALTORS the ability to use big data to their advantage in an unprecedented way to enhance their marketing and business development efforts, and drive success.”
“Remine brings public record data and visualization technology to the MLS through heat maps and an easy to use graphical map-based interface,” Realcomp IT Director Ken Franklin said. “The ease of use and searchability are unlike any other technology we have seen in the residential real estate industry, which is why we were so committed to bringing Remine to Realcomp REALTORS."
The Realcomp MLS database is fully integrated with the Remine platform, which is expected to be available to Realcomp REALTORS before the third quarter of this year.
“We are incredibly pleased that Realcomp REALTORS selected Remine,” Remine CEO Leo Pareja said. “We are providing Realcomp REALTORS with the most sophisticated big data application in the industry; one that was designed as a direct response to the challenges many REALTORS and brokers face. Our partnership with Realcomp, Michigan's largest MLS is a critical step in helping more real estate professionals use data as an effective marketing strategy.”
